$ 365 includes late fee (post-Feb 5)

U15

U17 - U19

$ 435 includes late fee (post-Feb 5)
  • Additional $100 Selects/Umpire Fee will apply for Division 1

$40 Late Registration Fees (U11-U19): Will apply starting February 6 for all registrations in these age categories. Now included in the totals above

REFUND POLICY FOR 2024

Season Cancellations:  West Hill Softball 2024 Registrations are 100% refundable if the entire season is cancelled due to unforeseen events.  No administration fee will be levied in this scenario.

Season Interruptions/Reductions:  If the season is interrupted or considerably limited due to unforeseen events, appropriate refunded amounts will be determined by WHS at that time based on costs already incurred.

Participant-requested refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis up until when teams have been formed (Approx. Date: Mar 15).  Refunds will be prorated based on the time spent within the program.  A $25 administration fee will also be applied for all participant-requested refunds.

VOLUNTEER & JERSEY BONDS FOR 2024

$300 bond for the 2024 season for all players at u9 and older.   You may choose to pay the Volunteer Bond fee upfront at registration if you are unable to commit to volunteer at the league and team level this season.

Does not apply for U7 Timbits.

Jersey Bonds remain $50 and MUST be submitted to your team upon receipt of your jersey (no bond, no jersey).

SELECTS (Division 1) & UMPIRE FEES

Once again in 2024, we will requiring all Division 1 players to pay additional selects & umpire fees that apply only to teams at this division level.

Selects / Umpire Fee:  All players chosen for the Division 1 team will be required to pay an additional $100 Selects/Umpire Fee to cover incidental costs such as added gym/facility bookings, Vista Heights field fee, enhanced WHS equipment, and of course, umpires.

Non-Selects Umpire Fee:  If any Division 2 or 3 age category teams receive paid umpires for the season (these fees are levied by Calgary Minor Softball), WHS reserves the right to pass these fees to players within these divisions.  (Typically $650 per team).  We will NOT be asking for umpire fee pre-payment for all u15+ teams like we did in 2023. 

INSTALLMENT PAYMENT OPTION

Once again in 2024, we will offer all registrations two payment options:

Installment Option:  An initial deposit payment of $95 (still fully refundable) is required at sign-up.  The second installment, for the remainder of the registration fee, will process on March 15, 2024.  There is no additional transaction fee if you use this split option.

Full Payment Option:  You may also choose to pay the season fee, fully upfront.

West Hill Softball is a Non-profit organization and all fees are directed to regular expenses during the year.

*Equipment Fees were significantly higher in 2022 with the addition of the u9 Age Category in Calgary Minor Softball season.
*Increase in uniform Costs year-over-year in 2023 as we hope to replace 50% of our jerseys
*Coach Development costs are to expand in 2023 as WHS will cover basic course fees for Coaches
