Players will enjoy this 6-session dynamic clinic focused on all facets of your player's game. The clinics will be run by our SAIT group, and will include all of hitting, fielding, throwing, catching, and running.

- SELECTS CAMP -
CLINIC w/ WHS
Similar to last season, your experienced WHS Coaches will lead our Selects Camps at the Coyote Den. This 6 session camp will develop all skills (throwing, catching, fielding, batting, running). Pitchers and Catchers have an option to add-on specialized instruction with Lance Block and Chris Robertson during these sessions.

CLINIC w/ Lance Block
WHS welcomes Lance Block to our winter program to bring us a new take on our pitching clinics that promises to be more fun and dynamic to build proper mechanics and strength to your pitcher!
ELIGIBLE PLAYERS:
Experienced Pitchers (u11+)

LANCE BLOCK - DETAILS
Lance is a certified CANpitch Regional Pitching Instructor and Level 1 NCCP certified coach. Having two daughters that pitch and once being a pitcher himself, he understands that practicing the proper mechanics and techniques is almost as important as having fun! Lance led the Calgary u15 Team to the Alberta Summer Games in 2023.
He has been leading pitching clinics for the past five years and enjoys working with the athletes, bringing new creative drills to challenge them.

LAST YEAR: We are excited to begin a new partnership with Chris Robertson, an experienced catching instructor coming from the West Valley program. These catching clinics are ideal for players who are looking to increase their knowledge and skill level of the catching position.
We will focus on the fundamentals: Throwing strength, Positioning behind the plate, Framing, and opportunity to work with our pitchers.

CHRIS ROBERTSON - DETAILS
Chris has been coaching fastpitch through West Valley for the past 10 years. He has served as West Valley's President for 3 years, a member of the Calgary Minor Softball board, and has coached teams at all CMS levels. Chris was an assistant coach for the Calgary team at the 2018 Alberta Summer Games. For the past five years, Chris has been running Catching Clinics for both West Valley & Foothills programs.
Catching is a true passion for him, and with some basic fundamentals, he strongly believes that a catcher has the ability to singlehandedly keep games close, and give teams the opportunity to win.
- JUNIOR PITCHING -

These clinics are more for an introduction to pitching, or for those players in their first couple years of pitching. We will focus on the basics, repetition, and getting the proper mechanics. Further Details are coming soon.
