As we look ahead to the upcoming softball season, we wanted to provide an update on our clinic programming.

After reviewing registration numbers and participation in previous years, we have decided to take a slightly different approach to our community clinic offerings this season. We have seen lower registration for some of our broader clinic offerings, so rather than continuing to offer many clinics with low participation, we are going to focus on the areas with the greatest demand.

Pitching Clinics

Pitching remains a strong interest, so we will continue to offer pitching opportunities for our players. More information, including dates and registration details, will be shared as they become available.

U11 Advanced Clinic

We also have two of our U11 coaches working together to organize an advanced U11 clinic for players looking to further develop their skills. We are excited about this opportunity and will share more information once the details have been finalized.

Looking for Additional Training Opportunities?

While West Hill Softball will not be hosting the same extensive selection of community clinics as in previous years, there are several excellent softball organizations in Calgary offering additional training opportunities. Families looking for more clinic options may want to explore organizations such as Diamond Dawgs and Level Up Softball, which offer a variety of programs throughout the year.

A Note for Div. 1 Families

This update does not affect the existing clinic and training opportunities available to our Div. 1 WILD players (U13 through High School). Those opportunities will continue as planned. This update is specifically regarding our broader community clinic programming for players outside of the Div. 1 program.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to look at ways to provide programming that is useful, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of our players and families. We will share additional information about the upcoming pitching and U11 opportunities as details are confirmed.

Thank you for your continued support of West Hill Softball!
